Charlie and Laura Townsend
Charlie and Laura are the pastors of The Well, a simple church that they have planted on the south end of Whidbey Island. They have served in many capacities; as youth pastors in two different churches, as an assistant pastor working with different multi-ethnic churches in the heart of Seattle. There are several young people that they have developed spiritual parent/mentor roles with that have been total blessing in their lives. The core of the message or mission that ABBA has given them, is to help others, both Christians and non-believers, to discover what their true identity in Christ is; what gifts He has given them, and what is His purpose and plan for their lives. In this comes healing and restoration. They are also involved in several other ministries; board members for Fresh Start ministries; spiritual advisors to Continents for Christ (a ministry that takes pastoral training to countries where they need assistance); pastoral advisors to Healing Whidbey healing rooms, which is affiliated to the International Healing Room Association; and Charlie is the pastoral advisor to the South Whidbey chapter of AGLOW. Their number one ministry though, is to each other, their three beautiful daughters, son-in-law, and adorable grandson. Their lives are busy and their God is amazing
